- edited June 2009I think you might be having problems because you are still on the neighborhood screen. Move your family to a lot and then use the motherlode cheat. I have not had problems doing it this way.
- edited June 2009As far as I've been able to tell the money cheat will not work in the hood before you buy a house. I tried that as well to give my sim a better house but it wouldn't allow it. It only let me do it once I already moved into a house.
As for the family funds cheat that isn't part of one of the sims 3 cheats. They have a whole barrage of cheats now.0 - edited June 2009Yeah it works for me as long as you're in the sims area and not the main neighborhood.

- edited June 2009You have to be in live mode on a lot before you can do the cheat, so just pick a place and do the cheat then move out. Or just choose a place you like. From what ive seen it wont work before you place your sims or when your in building mode.
- edited June 2009Thank you all for posting this, I am so happy to see that the motherlode cheat works in Sims3, I was able to play my game for the first time for just a little bit last night but did not even try the cheats yet, I to need my cheats, I was so busy just trying to get them working and every thing I did not have time to explore. Please I so hope some one will post any new cheats there may be. Please.

I wish there was a way to add money to a family's fund without having to move them into a house, cause I would like to start off in a big house, and just skip moving them, cheat code, moving them out and then moving them into the new house.
